As a result, the least impressionable of players will be enthusiastic about the view obtained from various parts of the course, as it commands wide sweeps of picturesque countryside embracing the Arenig Range to the North, the Aran Range to the South West with the Berwyn Range running West to East. Immediately below the course is the famed and beautiful Llyn Tegid, the largest natural lake in the Principality like a jewel in the Valley from which emerges the famous River Dee.
